The Moon’s monthly, eight phase cycle tells us twelve or thirteen different stories during one Earth orbit around the Sun.  Those same phases also describe the eight seasons of one year, measured by the Solstices, Equinoxes and Cross-Quarter days.  As well, there is a profound, eight phase lunar cycle of 29 years.  But all her alignments bring us Home, again.

For 2026, our first New Moon occurs on December 19, 2025, just two days before Winter Solstice.  Winter Solstice always marks the beginning of the new “Solar-Lunar” year.  The final lunar cycle of the year ends on January 6, 2027.  But here’s what you really want to know about this one of a kind, Thirteen Moons calendar!  While studying the charts for each lunar month of 2026, it became very clear to me how our Collective Stories are changing.  And that is what this calendar is sharing with you.  Stories!
